The Effects of Job Satisfaction by the Optimism, Self-efficacy and Job Stresses of Dental Hygienists

Abstract
Objective : This research was performed the influencing factors about optimism, self efficacy, job stress among dental hygienists.

Methods : Data were obtained from October to December 2012, 300 dental hygienists who were working at dental clinic M network. This examination was done through surveys of correlation analysis between general characteristics and variable. Also obtain the data of dental hygienists by investigating and studying the factors that affect job satisfaction.
Results : It was found that the higher the optimism was, the higher self-efficacy(r=0.259), job satisfaction (r=0.270) and the self-efficacy was showed plus correlation with self-satisfaction(r=0.355), minus correlation with job stress(r=-0.288) (p<.001). And also showed minus correlation between self-satisfaction and job stress(r=-0.353) (p<.001). The result showed the factors that affect the job satisfaction by multiple regression analysis with working experience under 2-6years, It was found that the higher self-satisfaction(p<.05) when the higher optimism, self-efficacy was and the less was job stress. And the explanation ability (R2) of independent variable was 0.338.

Conclusion : It was found that the higher self-efficacy and optimism for positive attitude of the factors of influenced job satisfaction for dental hygienists. And the less was job stress, the higher job satisfaction was.
